Concurrently, Ed was elected President of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, Ring 21. When he became president, the club was on the verge of disbanding. However, after only one year as President, Ed restored various funds, set up monthly workshops, improved upon the monthly club newsletter and drammatically increased membership. During his term of office, Ring 21 went from near extinction to a vibrant and energetic place for magicians to meet, learn and share ideas.
For the past 15 years people have watched Ed work his miracles every
Thursday night at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA. He is one of the
few Performing Members allowed to work the Close-Up Room
and often is
requested to perform overflow shows.
